  YouTube is a simple platform which allows people to express there thoughts via a video. In this case I created a short YouTube video showing off an initiation I had to carry out for joining the Uni football team. Which took me around 5minutes to upload , due to the step by step clear instructions it gives you when attempting to upload.  YouTube overall is a great app that allows people to express there thoughts and provide entertainment for others via videos and shorts. Its a easy platform that can be used for people of all ages , as YouTube always has something for everyone.  YouTube has many strengths but one of the key ones is the algorithm. This is what makes up the recommended section as soon as you open the app. It basically filters the content you watch specifically to you , based upon you're recent videos you've watched. This image was taken when I went on a trip to sea life , for me taking photos is like a real life calendar and it allows me to look a moments in my life that happened via a certain photos, for example in this image me and my girlfriend went on a trip to the sea life centre , and here she is pictured kissing the fish as the fish looks at her.  I quite like this image as it shows what she is like as an overall character and also the image itself is quite a memorable one , which I will use as a way of remembering I was there. Twitter moment is a great way of capturing a few ideas and posts people have made , and putting them under a certain category, which is extremely helpful especially if you’re looking for a specific topic , it allows you to find all the tweets that are relevant under one heading. It can be made by anyone , however it can be private or made public.  Here’s an example of a Twitter moment , credit BBC news. Looking further into Twitter Moments it’s a very political Platform/Idea as it allows for lots of debates because it gathers all the information about specific topic , causing lots of debate and discussion because everyone has a different opinion, for example the moment I picked out here is about Liz Truss resigning as the Prime Minister , which the BBC created a moment about which acts like a shortened version of the news , because you can read the moment and it’ll give you all the relevant information you would get from watching the news.  This is a major strength for Twitter...

Kindle is quite an interesting app , however I hadn’t used it at all before this lesson when I was introduced to it. On first glance it’s a slick looking app has very simple features which allows people all of ages to engage and use it. The feature allows people to simply read books without too much hassle. The app itself has 4 main sections which you can navigate from (Home, Library, Discover, More) this makes it very simple and easy to find where you want to go and find any articles that may be interesting online, by adding them to your library in the kindle app. In terms of how useful the app is, its a very useful app for people who want to have a simplistic way of reading for example, people may use it when they go abroad to read downloaded extracts, or even books they may have brought via the app. However a weakness of Kindle app is that as soon as you use your email, when signing in/creating a account they send you lots of spam emails about new books that are coming to Kindle as ...

 Facebook live is a new feature added to Facebook which allows people to go live and stream to their friends or the general public , it’s an easy to use feature but simply just clicking go live. This can be used in many ways for simply just seeing who’s online , or even to promote and give out information to an audience live. All live streams are captured and saved whoever’s page it’s from which allows replays.  Pros of Facebook live is that you are easily able to interact with people over a video chat rather than a text message or a reply , which for some people feels like a more personal interaction. Further more it can allow you to enhance your product by not really doing too much marketing as you can just simply talk about the product answer any questions easily via the live chat. I've enjoyed my first few weeks at university , I've started to learn about some of the interesting fact about the media industry and learn how its been shaped in certain ways by what people whether that's human effect or by natural flow of society.
