Facebook Live

 Facebook live is a new feature added to Facebook which allows people to go live and stream to their friends or the general public , it’s an easy to use feature but simply just clicking go live. This can be used in many ways for simply just seeing who’s online , or even to promote and give out information to an audience live. All live streams are captured and saved whoever’s page it’s from which allows replays. 

Pros of Facebook live is that you are easily able to interact with people over a video chat rather than a text message or a reply , which for some people feels like a more personal interaction. Further more it can allow you to enhance your product by not really doing too much marketing as you can just simply talk about the product answer any questions easily via the live chat.

However there a few weaknesses of Facebook Live in my mind which include , if you go live to everyone this means you can open yourself up to anyone in the world, and sometimes can open yourself up to online abuse , as for example from my own experiences some people will go into a popular persons Facebook live and try selling their own content and send hate messages.

Youtube Post

  YouTube is a simple platform which allows people to express there thoughts via a video. In this case I created a short YouTube video showing off an initiation I had to carry out for joining the Uni football team. Which took me around 5minutes to upload , due to the step by step clear instructions it gives you when attempting to upload.  YouTube overall is a great app that allows people to express there thoughts and provide entertainment for others via videos and shorts. Its a easy platform that can be used for people of all ages , as YouTube always has something for everyone.  YouTube has many strengths but one of the key ones is the algorithm. This is what makes up the recommended section as soon as you open the app. It basically filters the content you watch specifically to you , based upon you're recent videos you've watched.
